Nick Krall made all the right moves for the Cincinnati Reds at the trade deadline and Bobby Nightengale gave us an inside look as to how it all went down. Jeff and Steve break down Bobby's article including the points that stuck out like the contract talks with Luis Castillo, the top prospects Krall was told no by other teams, and how the Reds landed the top prospects from the Mariners. The Reds had a bullpen day (despite not calling it that) and it went about as well as anyone could have hoped, but the Reds lineup did not bring the support. Also, Baseball America liked what Nick Krall did as they ranked the Reds fifth in their organizational talent rankings and put five Reds prospects in their Top-100 ranking.
