Description

Welcome to Roadcase, a podcast exploring the live music experience!!  Hop on aboard and learn about the lovely and amazingly talented Lydia Luce. Her new album, Dark River, is quite the personal journey and Lydia talks us through some of the songs from this newly released work. Lydia is classically trained in viola, her voice and guitar accompaniment are exquisite, and her songs are layered in lush and gorgeous tones with stunning arrangements. Lydia is an in-demand session musician and also works tirelessly with Lockeland Strings, a Nashville-based artist collaborative which originated as a collection of house shows but now operates at larger venues in Nashville to showcase artists who come together to support a variety of non-profit causes. Lydia has been instrumental in bringing artists together and she is comfortable in a variety of live settings, having toured as a string player with some massive acts as well.  Come on along and hear this compelling and extraordinarily talented artist talk about her background, musical upbringing, and how the 2020 tornado in Nashville affected her in a very personal way.  Thanks for coming along!
