Gambit has been a character shrouded in mystery with a past that hadn't been explored much leading into this episode, both in The Animated Series and even only touched upon in the comics. Getting an unexpected phone call, Gambit is pulled back into the life he had once escaped during the generational war between the Thieves and Assassins Guilds. Between a mystical woman of the swamps, a jaded ex and a family who can't seem to get things right, Gambit and the X-Men are set to have their hands full.
