Description

On today's episode, Jason kicks things off with a deep dive into the NFL head coaching vacancies. Multiple outlets have suggested that the Las Vegas Raiders gig is the best that will (eventually) become available, but it's hard to make that kind of assessment given that their interim coach could still conceivable keep the job. Right now, the most desirable job has to be the Denver Broncos. If they can get their quarterback situation in order, the rest of that roster is ready-made for a deep playoff run. Later, Jason shares his thoughts on Dwyane Wade's assertion that the younger generations will forget about Michael Jordan in the GOAT debate the same way we forget about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar now. Wade is right; Future generations are more likely to call someone like LeBron James the GOAT simply because he was the greatest they ever actually saw... and then the next generation will pick someone else. That's the way these things work. Finally, Jason tells us why the Philadelphia 76ers decision not to trade Ben Simmons could come back to bite them in a big way. Can Daryl Morey really afford to waste another year of Joel Embiid's prime just to prove a point?
