This seems egregious on its face, that is unless you understand ‘how the sausage is made’ in sports media. PFF is clearly trying to cut through and get folks talking about them – and it worked. Later, Jason discusses the biggest difference between the vaunted Sean McVay Coaching Tree and the disappointing Bill Belichick Coaching Tree. The NFL has clearly moved away from the militaristic style that worked so well in New England; Players these days seem to respond much better to younger, offensive-minded coaches.
