In what has been undoubtedly the oddest Tony season of our lifetimes, the 74th annual Tony Award nominations were announced this past Friday for the 2019-2020 Broadway season. Due to the pandemic, the selection was somewhat limited which led to more than a few surprising choices and even exclusions.
