We’re back this week to talk about a pretty unique film that was created almost single handedly by Kenji Iwaisawa called On Gaku Our Sound. This isn’t just your run of the mill anime movie about a delinquent guy who looks like Saitama and wants to start a band. No, this is very stylized story telling mixed with vibrant sound design and animation sequences that pop out of the screen. This film is definitely something anyone who has gotten into any kind of music can relate to and rang pretty true to Geoff and Dan who have been in numerous bands of their own. We also talk a bit about what anime we’re excited for in the coming months, try to plan stuff on air by accident, and uh well both Geoff and Amelia’s power decided to give out at the very end of the episode but we managed to salvage it.
