Guest Katree Darriel Saunders, https://www.instagram.com/empresstreez/ is a mother of 4 and a global cannabis advocate. Katree talks about her life dealing with injuries and using cannabis to avoid opioid medication and muscle relaxers. She went from cannabis patient to participant, helping others to obtain cannabis for their pain. DEA’s Operation Chronic Problem stopped her from doing that by Federally charging her over two sales to an undercover DEA , totaling 3.5 grams of cannabis and 10 grams of hashish. After her time in federal prison, she tried to continue to work in the cannabis industry but due to current laws, it restricted convicted felons to work in the cannabis field. As she work to get her record cleared and she has been working with Last Prisoner Project and Arcview’s Women’s Inclusion Network.
