Description

In the world of professional production, life on the road can be challenging, and now there’s a support group to help production pros meet those challenges. In Episode 45, the hosts talk with Paul and Courtney Klimson, industry veterans are establishing The Clinic, a non-profit agency to provide essential resources to touring pros and their families that’s based in southwest Michigan. "Our mission is simple. We exist to empower & heal roadies and their families by providing resources & services tailored to the struggles of the touring lifestyle."  Paul’s career includes 20 highly credited years of production experience with TV broadcast, large-scale concert tours, music festivals and special events. In 2008, he was plucked out of John Legend’s “Evolver Tour” to audition (at the set of Saturday Night Live in NYC) for what was to become the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon television show. In 2013, he designed and built the monitor package for the famous Studio 6B set at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in NYC and saw the show through its memorable transition into The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.Meanwhile, Courtney spent the past decade in NYC where she built an entire pro audio installation division at the Masque Sound & Recording Corporation with notable audio clients that include The Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, New York University, and the famous and expansive St. Patrick’s Cathedral located in the heart of New York City. While at Masque, she got the call to work in television production on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and was instrumental in putting together the uniquely memorable live U2 rooftop performance at Rockefeller Center for the highly-anticipated inaugural week episode (and February 18 broadcast) of the show.
