Description

Today, The Huge Show was hosted by our amazing Michigan Sports Network counter-part, Anthony Bellino from X's and Bro's in the morning. Throughout the show, Anthony talked about the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons, NBA, College Football, Red Wings, and more. In our first hour we were joined by Matt Shepard from Bally Sports Detroit to talk about the Tigers. He and Anthony discussed the current struggles for the team, what has been going right for them, the injuries, and much more. Anthony opened up the second hour talking about some of the headlines that are out there in the sports world. He gave his opinion on Kyrie Irving opting in to his 36 Million dollar player option with the Nets. Throughout the rest of the hour, Anthony talked some College football as the ACC is making some changes to power 5 football. He gave his thoughts on if the other conferences will follow suit. To start our final hour, Anthony carried over his topic about conference changes in football, and related them to basketball. He then moved on to talk some Hockey as the new "Unrivaled" documentary just came out about the Red Wings and Avalanche. We were joined by Keith Gave, who is the writer of "The Russian Five," so he and Anthony could discuss that documentary. They broke down what was happening between the two franchises in the '90s, talked about some of their favorite parts of the documentary, and more.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
