Description

In this two part interview Scott sits down (over Zoom of course) with one of the busiest guys in rock n roll, frontman of Alter Bridge and Slash and the Conspirators, Myles Kennedy, who is at work on his solo album. They talk about Myles' journey including his religious upbringing and how he got into rock n roll at an early age, his beginnings as a guitar player and teaching guitar in his early 20’s.
They then jump into great stories like the time he jammed with Led Zeppelin and the early auditions of Velvet Revolver. Along the way Myles shares how he met the guys in Alter Bridge and Slash and talks new music for both projects. He discusses the direction of the new album, how it was made, and the journey to making it as a rock star.
For the second part of the interview, Scott talks with solo artist and former Brother Cane vocalist, Damon Johnson, to talk about his new record "Battle Lessons." The record is being released with his new band, Damon Johnson and the Get Ready. The two reminisce about how they met, taking us on a journey from Damons time in Alice Coopers band to Thin Lizzy and Black Star Riders.
They share a few stories on how Damon got to join Thin Lizzy, the songwriting process and touch base on the new album and life in 2021 as a music artist. Last but not least Damon performs two songs, Battle Lessons and the Steven Tyler and Santana “Just Feel Better" that Damon originally wrote!
