Huge opened the show by discussing the news out of the NBA today where Mark Cuban briefly announced that the Dallas Mavericks organization would not be playing the National Anthem before any of their games...Well, this didn't last too long as Adam Silver quickly shot that idea down. Huge gave his thoughts on all of this and we also took a couple great calls and opinions on the topic. Following this, we moved on to talk some college basketball as the Wolverines are finally set to get back at it. We were joined by Chris Balas in our first hour to talk about how the team has been doing in practices and so on.
We continued the conversation on College Basketball as Tom Izzo's Spartans are currently 4-7 heading into Saturday's game against Iowa. We were joined by Graham Couch at the top of our second hour to get his thoughts on if the Spartans can maintain .500 and get into the tournament. We were also joined by Tim Staudt to get his thoughts on the Spartans as well. Huge and Tim also talked about that tight win over Penn State last night.
In our final hour we kept the College Basketball conversation going as we were joined by Tim McCormick to talk some more about the Wolverines. Tim gave his insight on the where the team is at and where he see's them going. He and Huge also talked briefly about how poorly the Pistons are doing right now. We were then joined by Mark Uyl, the Executive Director the MHSAA. Following the recent release from the MHSAA regarding Winter Sports protocol as the season just started up, Mark came on the show to go through the new rules and policies. These rules relate to spectators, concessions, certain sports and what they're allowed to do, and so much more.
