In our first hour, we were joined by the Executive Director of the Michigan High School Athletic Association, Mark Uyl. Last Thursday, Mark and his team announced that Fall sports are now back in play – including football, girls swimming and diving, and boys soccer. Earlier in the week there were some guidelines saying that masks/face coverings will need to be worn while playing; with the exception of swimming. A day or two removed - Mark wanted to update us on what new information he has regarding wearing masks. We were then joined by Doug Karsch to talk about the B10 and his thoughts on them coming back to play this year.
In our second hour we were joined by the host of X’s and Bro’s in the morning, Anthony Bellino. Anthony joined us to give us his thoughts on the Lions going against the Bears on Sunday. He and Huge also went through the NFL schedule for the weekend and they both gave their picks for who will be victorious in the first games of the season. We then had a recap with Mark Uyl and Dr. K regarding high school football being back, as well as how they feel about the mask situation.
In our final hour we wanted to replay our update with Mark Uyl from the MHSAA regarding new updates he has when it comes to wearing a mask during play. We were then joined by Aaron McMann to talk some more B10 football and to get his thoughts on the likelihood of a season starting up this fall or winter. We wrapped up the show with our friend Tim McCullough from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort.
