To kick off the show today, Huge talked about some of the issues happening across the country that he had some strong feelings about…We were then joined by the voice of the Detroit Red Wings Ken Kal. We got his thoughts on the Wings having the best chance for the top pick in tonight’s NHL Draft Lottery. Following this, the voice of the Tigers Class-A farm affiliate the West Michigan Whitecaps, Dan Hasty joined us to talk about real baseball games in Michigan and the Tigers being back in action.
Throughout our second hour, we were joined by the TV voice of the Detroit Tigers, Matt Shepard. Matt and Huge discussed some of the requirements that are being put in place for both the players and broadcasters. Shep broke down some of the roster the Tigers are going into summer training with and how stacked he and Huge think the team will look like. We also learned heard some more about the rebuilding process, when Shep thinks this team will really flourish, and about some of the up-and-comers the Tigers have.
In our final hour, we were joined by Graham Couch to get his thoughts on the recently announced All-Decade Team and All-Decade Coach (Izzo) and Players. Huge and Graham discussed that list and also looked at the likelihood of sports continuing depending on what the next month of Covid looks like. Graham also gave us a brief update on what sports could look like at MSU in the next few months…We were then joined by Aaron McMann from Wolverine Confidential and Matt Wenzel from Spartan Confidential to get an update on what’s happening at both U-M and MSU, and how to sign up for their Wolverine and Spartan updates. To end the show, we were joined by Greg Heeres from BHS Insurance to hear about what they’re doing to help make things easier on their customers, how important it is to have that safety they provide, and so much more.
