Description
To open up the show today, Bill talked about the recent news out of the MLB from the Players Association that they should hopefully have an answer to Manfred’s proposal to come by 5pm today. He thinks the players may have an issue with the Covid protocols though…Following this, Bill related things back to Covid and brought up his Huge Question of the Day: What sport is the first to back out on NOT playing? In our first hour we were joined by Logan Lamorandier to discuss the latest passing of the guard of the Lions Organization from Martha Ford to her daughter Sheila Ford Hamp. Bill and Logan said they were comfortable with the change, but don’t see much change coming from it.
We continued the conversation about Martha Ford stepping down in our second hour of the show today. We were joined by Lomas Brown to get his thoughts on the changes in the front office, what good could come from it, what the future could look like, and how he would feel about the changes IF he were still playing. We then circled back to the MLB and we got the thoughts of Joe Davis on the back and forth between the players and owners. He gave us his insight on what the players will do, and what he thinks the season will look like.
In our final hour today, we were joined by Tom Gage to discuss more on the MLB and whether the players association will accept Manfred’s latest deal or not. Tom and Bill talked about what the season will look like and how the Tigers will be affected, why all of this is taking so long, and much more…We wrapped up the show with Tim McCullough from the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mount Pleasant. He let us know about their safety protocols, what money can be won, and what big events are coming up.
