Description

The news about Andre Drummond broke shortly before the show started today - he's been traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers for basically nothing in return. Bill asked our guests and listeners what they thought about this trade and what difference it could make for the Pistons. Away from this news we're talking about D2 & D3 football throughout the state of Michigan following the second signing day yesterday. In our first hour we were joined by Coach Matt Mitchell out of Grand Valley, as well as Sparky McEwen from Davenport. We heard about some of their recruits and about how things are going in the off-season.
More on the Drummond trade to kick off the second hour today. We took a few calls and then moved back into discussing D2 & D3 teams following signing day. This hour we were joined by the head coach of Ferris State football, Tony Annese. Coach Leonard Haynes out of Northwood joined us and Coach Jason Couch from Alma came on to wrap up the hour.
We caught up with Coach Peter Stuursma from Hope College, and then we were joined by BIG BAD Ben Wallace for the final hour today! We got Ben’s thoughts on the Drummond trade, and talked everything GR Drive, Pistons, and what Ben has been up to since we’ve had him in last. Tom Rosenbach let us know who won the “Beat Huge” contest, and Ron VanTimmeren from Celebration Cinemas let us know what’s happening at the movies!
