Ross Johnston and the Islanders came to an agreement on a four-year extension to cap off the first half of what should be seen as a successful road trip (11:08). Ilya Sorokin absolutely dominated in net for the Islanders, etching his name in the record books, and earning the NHL's third star of the week. Balanced scoring, a rejuvenated Zach Parise, and the best fourth line in hockey were key contributions as well. It's not all roses and gold, however, as the defense remains an issue for the Islanders.
