Hello hello and welcome to Episode 8, which is one of Malaika's lucky numbers.
This week in Watch News we discuss a few new releases, including the blue ceramic Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and the Urwerk UR-100V ULTRAVIOLET.
For Watch Spotting, we discuss Timotay Chalamay's Cartier moment at the Venice Film Festival... and his RED HALTER TOP RED CARPET moment.  We also discuss Zendaya at the US Open, Bowen Yang wearing Massena Lab, Liz Truss's fake Piaget and Jerry Seinfeld's f*ckboy KITH campaign. (We also discuss the Queen briefly. RIP. We recorded this the evening prior to her passing.)
Then we get into the meat and potatoes of the pod, which is, of course, talking about press trips. Brynn went out east with Longines for the Hampton Classic horse show and came up on a watch.
Malaika feasted on the raw bar in the Rolex suite at the US Open and saw Serena's (maybe) last victory on the court. Later in the week, Brynn had pigs in a blanket at the Rolex suite at the US Open and was in the front row watching their 18-year old testimonee and absolute powerhouse, Coco Gauff.
