Description
The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is an independent federal agency that investigates every civil aviation incident in the United States. The analyze probable cause to incidents and recommend safety actions to prevent mishaps from happening. It's fair to say when NTSB representatives show up on site, everyone's anxiety level goes up, especially if you are going to be an involved party during an investigation. We'll touch on the overall process the NTSB uses and what you as a mechanic should know and do about it. Would like to read more about the article we used for this episode?
