Along with many additional award nominations, including an Oscar nomination for her role as Nadi in House of Sand and Fog, Shohreh won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Limited Series or Movie for her role as Sajida in HBO's, House of Saddam. Shohreh is also known for her roles in The Exorcism of Emily Rose, X-Men: The Last Stand, The Nativity Story, and Star Trek Beyond.In 2013, Shohreh released an autobiography, "The Alley of Love and Yellow Jasmines."
