Mawlana Ummer completed his Hifz from Muslim Center New York in Flushing, NY. He started his Aalim course in Darul Uloom New York, and studied there for the first five years. To complete his studies he traveled to Pakistan and Canada for an additional three years and graduated from Darul Uloom Canada in Chatham. He is currently teaching Hifz in Queens, NY.
