Description

Dr. David Fischman is Professor of Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University and is the Co-Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship Program at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  In addition to direct patient care, he is actively involved in clinical research and has been the principal investigator of many clinical trials of new and innovative technologies in the treatment of patients with heart disease.  He has received countless accolades for patient care and clinical research and has been the principal author of numerous manuscripts including the landmark trial on coronary stenting, the STRESS Trial.  He serves as a peer reviewer for numerous journals and is active on social media. Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology he is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians and the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography & Interventions.
