Description
TODAY: Philip Rosenthal, American television writer and producer who is best known as the creator, writer, and executive producer for the sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond (1996–2005). He also has a new show on Netflix "Somebody Feed Phil," that premiered on January 12th, 2018. In "Somebody Feed Phil," series, he takes viewers on a goodwill eating tour of the world. Rosenthal -- joined by friends and family -- visits cities that include Tel Aviv, Mexico City, New Orleans and Bangkok to get a taste of the local cuisine and culture at each stop on his journey.

David Mirkin, Writer/Director – The Film Scene: <p>TODAY: David Mirkin, American feature film and television writer and director. Originally beginning as an electrical engineer, Mirkin quickly realized that this career path wasn't for him and began his career as a writer, with early credits on <em>Three's Company</em> and <em>The Larry Sanders Show</em>. He is best known for his tenure as the showrunner for <em>The Simpsons, </em>starting in season 5, and is credited with introducing more surreal elements and ideas for the show, such as the famous episode <em>Deep Space Homer. </em>During his time with the show he would win 4 Emmy awards and a Peabody award before leaving the position after season 6.
