Description
TODAY: Dana Delany, Emmy award-winning American actress and producer with a career spanning almost 40 years. Delaney is best known for her television role as Colleen McMurphy on the ABC television series China Beach, for which she won two Emmy awards. She also starred as series regular Katherine Mayfair in Desperate Housewives, and Crystal Harris in the 2014 series Hand of God. In addition to her extensive list of film and television roles, she is also a stage actress and producer for film, playing the role of Beatrice in the Old Globe Theatre's production of Much Ado About Nothing in 2003, and executive producing the 2001 film Final Jeopardy.

David Mirkin, Writer/Director – The Film Scene: <p>TODAY: David Mirkin, American feature film and television writer and director. Originally beginning as an electrical engineer, Mirkin quickly realized that this career path wasn't for him and began his career as a writer, with early credits on <em>Three's Company</em> and <em>The Larry Sanders Show</em>. He is best known for his tenure as the showrunner for <em>The Simpsons, </em>starting in season 5, and is credited with introducing more surreal elements and ideas for the show, such as the famous episode <em>Deep Space Homer. </em>During his time with the show he would win 4 Emmy awards and a Peabody award before leaving the position after season 6.
