Description

This week we are discussing "Superman 2" on its 40th anniversary and this movie had a lot to discuss from the changing of the director, bringing in new writers, Gene Hackman not coming back for reshoots, and more.  So to help us out we brought back our guest review from our 100th episode "Back to the Future Part 3", Tom Campanella.  We discussed Lois Lane treating Clark terribly, the lack of Superman, too many jokes, Gene Hackman's body double, escaping in a balloon, and lots more
This a video review that you can watch at sequelsonly.com/superman2
The next sequel we are reviewing is “American Ninja 2: The Confrontation" and we were lucky enough to interview the director Sam Firstenberg. Sam grew up in Jerusalem, directing 22 theatrical feature films since completing his graduate studies in film at Loyola Marymount University and obtained his higher education in LA. He is best known for having made low-budget B movies most of his career, among them, is "Revenge of the Ninja", "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo", "Avenging Force", and lots more. Sam has directed former guests Eric Roberts and his wife Eliza and Lisa London.  Sam's journey to Hollywood is one of my favorites and you will love it too.
