Description

The next sequel we are covering was a WWE Film, "12 Rounds 2: Reloaded". For it, I chatted with the Composer, Nathan Furst.
Nathan discusses his experience scoring movies, including the challenge of incorporating Christmas carols into a film score. He also shares the challenges he faced as a young composer and the importance of being willing to make fun of oneself. Nathan explains the audition process for composers and the future of composing in the age of AI. The conversation concludes with a discussion on the meta nature of action movies and the joy of being a fan. We also talked about his family, his brother Griff who I interviewed last year, and their legendary father Stephen Furst (Flounder in "Animal House". Great chat.
