Dr. Mona is the Director of the Pediatric residency program at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She was also awarded the Heinz Award in Public Policy (2017), was named one of Politico's 50 most important people in 2016 and won the James C. Goodall Freedom of Expression Award in the same year.
