Dakota Meyer is a husband, father, Marine, and one of 11 living Medal of Honor recipients from the war in Afghanistan. He enlisted in the Marine Corps after high school, served from 2006-2010, and received the highest and most prestigious military decoration that can be awarded for his actions on September 8th, 2009.
