In today’s episode, Greg and Brian are joined by Air Force Veteran and Author Andy Brown. Andy is on the show to discuss his book “Warnings Unheeded” where he documents the events leading up to two seemingly unrelated tragedies that occurred when he was stationed at Fairchild Air Force Base in 1994. The first event Andy talks about was the crash of a B-52 bomber that happened during a rehearsal for an upcoming air show. The second event that Andy talks about, which occurred just 4 days before the B-52 crash, was an active shooter attack at the Hospital on base where Andy single-handedly stopped the shooter from killing more people.After leaving the Air Force, Andy investigated both incidents and found an alarming amount of pre-event indicators in the YEARS leading up to both tragedies. Andy wrote about these indicators in great detail in his book “Warnings Unheeded, Twin Tragedies at Fairchild Air Force Base”The documented behaviors that Andy wrote about were obvious red flags… in both cases.
