Description

In this episode, Greg and Brian are joined by former St Louis police officer Tom Lake. Just over 3 years ago Tom was shot twice in the face while sitting at a stoplight in his patrol car. Tom is on the show today to talk about what happened that night as well as what has happened over the last 3 years. Tom tells us the story of what happened to him and everything that he's had to deal with over the last 3 years including his struggle with PTSD and depression and how the very department he worked for investigated him after he shared his stories of PTSD with other officers. This was an incredibly powerful episode and it was an emotional conversation. You’re going to want to listen to this one all the way until the end.
