Description

In this episode, Brian and Greg are covering a case from Blackwell, Oklahoma where police officer Lieutenant John Mitchell was indicted for second-degree murder after shooting and killing an armed, active shooter. Given the facts of the case, it was difficult for Brian to understand how a police officer can be charged with murder after killing a violent, fleeing felon who was also shooting at the police. As always, we try to dissect these cases through the lens of cognitive performance.Follow us on FaceBook: https://www.facebook.com/HBPRA/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/arcadia_cognerati/Itunes: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/left-of-greg-podcast/id1448181902Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/1BgPDLkWp5iptfZOnXvSSEYouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1S7E4hgSfLVWi4jGlKKqawWebsite: https://www.arcadiacognerati.comTwitter: https://twitter.com/A_CogneratiMusic from https://filmmusic.io "District Four" by Kevin MacLeod (https://incompetech.com)License: CC BY (http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/)Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/LeftOfGreg/)
