Description
Jake Brown and Nelson Figueroa open the show talking about Jacob deGrom's back injury and him saying he'll be fine for Opening Day. They talk bad mattresses, deGrom's importance to the team, the potential new owner bids that have come in, Sheldon Adelson, A-Rod, cardboard cutouts of fans and artificial cheers and boos being incorporated at games. Lifelong Met and 1969 World Series champion Ed Kranepool then joins the show. He talks about his debut in 1962 on the first Mets team, growing up a Yankees fan, not striking out much and being a good pinch-hitter. Kranepool goes on to discuss no fans in the stands this season, the Wilpons as owners, if Steve Cohen should buy the team and being close with his 1969 Mets teammates.
