On this episode of Celtics PRIDE, Adam, Josh, and Mike evaluate the trades made at the deadline with 10 days of hindsight. The guys discuss the Evan Fournier and Daniel Theis deals as one combined trade since the need to save money by trading Theis was a result of the Fournier trade. Adam rants about how Danny Ainge should have kept Theis and included Javonte Green in the Fournier deal to get under the tax instead of having to give up Theis to save money as well as how other seemingly minor cap moves and trades have caused the Celtics to be in their current position. The Pride guys also discuss how the value of these trades comes from having greater roster balance, from removing players to create more role clarity, and whether these trades improved the team more now or more going forward. They discuss the use of the TPE now, whether they should have traded Tristan Thompson and what value Luke Kornet and Mo Vagner bring to this team.  

The guys then discuss the most recent stretch of games and an improved effort, and offensive flow in two wins against Houston and Charlotte before ending with Josh’s observations of Romeo Langford.
