Description

Today on the show, we welcome producer, writer, director and actor Livia De Paolis! Yes, she can do it all – and she does it brilliantly. Livia’s second feature film The Lost Girls (2022), starring herself, Siobhan Hewlett, Tilly Marsan, Vanessa Redgrave and Ian Glen, is now in cinemas.
Livia sat down with our hosts, Giles Alderson and Lucinda Rhodes Thakrar, to talk about producing, directing and acting all at the same time and how lonely producing can be. She discusses how The Lost Girls came about, how she initially attached A-list stars to the project, and the breakdown she had after filming. She also talks about how she made her first feature film Emoticon ? (2014) and shares tips and tricks about directing.
It was an absolute delight having Livia on, so we hope you do enjoy this episode as much as we did. Sit, back, relax and listen to this week’s episode with Livia De Paolis.

THE LOST GIRLS is out in cinemas!
Like her grandmother and her mother Jane before her, Wendy must escape Pan’s hold on her and the promise he wants her to keep.
