Description

This week we’re shaking things up a bit with a masterclass on pitching your dream project to studios and financiers. Joining Giles Alderson is regular co-host Director/Producer Dom Lenoir as they both sit down with presentation and pitching expert John Livesay and Producer of the indie hit The Peanut Butter Falcon Aaron Scotti to talk pitching your film.
John covers different formats for your elevator pitch, including how to reverse engineer your concept for an unfamiliar audience, encouraging conversation and linking the story to your own personality.
Aaron gives valuable first-hand examples of his pitching journey on The Peanut Butter Falcon where he used John’s tips on presentation to win round his target financiers.
John talks about the different types of investor and how to tailor your pitch to their sensibilities. Is your investor a believer or a bean counter? Find out how to speak to their values in this week’s deep dive on pitching.
