Description

Today, we have a special treat for you. We welcome not one, not two, but three rising stars of the horror genre: writer-director Rob Savage and screenwriters Gemma Hurley and Jed Shepherd. They are the team behind the smash-hit Host (2020), and now they are back with their latest feature film, Dashcam.
Rob sat down with Giles Alderson to talk about going from making Host to Dashcam and dealing with expectations, prepping and directing a found footage horror film, SFX and to share tips and tricks on talking to studios.
Gemma and Jed on the other hand chatted with Giles about how their lives had changed after the success of Host, how they pitched Dashcam, what the collaboration with Blumhouse was like and dealing with the pressure of doing another successful film. They also talk about their creative process, how to write a found footage film and what makes horror different to any other genre.
Dashcam is out this week and it’s absolutely brilliant. Do check it out in cinemas. But for now, sit back, relax and enjoy this week’s episode with Rob Savage, Gemma Hurley and Jed Shepherd!
