The Talmud does not usually provide advice about production efficiency. But in the production of Matzot efficiency is not just a factor of productivity, it is in inherent dimension of performing the Mitzvah correctly. Efficiency is also a value when considering the time lapse between the moment of Chiyuv (when one becomes responsible to perform a mitzvah) and the moment of Kiyum (the act of performance.)
