Anson was playing in clubs around Dallas at age 14, and founded Anson Funderburgh and the Rockets, playing with blues harmonica and vocalist Sam Myers. During his career, he also played with Delbert McClinton, Boz Scaggs, Huey Lewis, Lee Roy Parnell, Hal Ketchum, & The Fabulous Thunderbirds Anson shared some great memories he made playing some of the blues festivals around the states… his experience hanging out with BB King… golf and his torn rotator cuff… the best (and worst) album he ever made (and oddly enough, it was the same album)... and more.
