Gil’s father was a successful stage actor on Broadway, and so Gil grew up “in the business,” and has been a solo artist with 7 albums of his own, and a successful working musician in New York City, for 35 years… Gil also got a full scholarship to Berklee but wound up leaving after a few months because at age 17, he got a full time job gigging on the road.
