Description

On the way to 'I'm Too Sexy'.With Drake releasing Way 2 Sexy with rappers Future and Young thug as the first single from his sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, the track 'I’m Too Sexy' by Right Said Fred which Way 2 Sexy relies heavily upon has come back into focus. A worldwide hit in 1991, 'I’m Too Sexy' even topped the US charts. Written by Richard and Fred Fairbrass along with Rob Manzoli, it’s a song that has seeped deeper into our popular culture. From Jay-Z's nod to the song on his 2001 The Blueprint, As part of the dialogue on The West Wing, and even used to see the Toyota Camry. But Drake's Me 2 Sexy has given the track a new lease of life, and in my opinion, another nod to the credibility the guys deserve for their songwriting. In this podcast, Richard and Fred Fairbrass talk about their lives pre-Sexy and how that track has stood the test of time. Note - I do not talk to them about their stance on the Covid vaccine - this podcast is about music! Our GDPR privacy policy was updated on August 8, 2022.
