Description

Each week, Joey, Nathan and Kelly revisit an episode of Animaniacs, Tiny Toon Adventures, Pinky and the Brain, or Freakazoid! Today the hosts review "Voice Lessons" by Rob Paulsen and then review issue #17 of the classic Animaniacs comic book! Voice Lessons Joey, Nathan and Kelly share their thoughts and impressions of Rob Paulsen's upcoming autobiography, "Voice Lessons." The stories found within the pages of the book not only provide a detailed account of what Rob Paulsen did to become a voice actor, but the stories also give us all some lessons in life. Rob demonstrates the importance of optimism and strength in the face of adversity and his recent battle with cancer. The hosts all thoroughly enjoyed the book and can't wait for its release on October 8th so that they can finally read some redacted information from the last chapter! You can order Rob's book on Amazon HERE or go to Amazon.Animanicast.com Beauty or the Beast Yakko, Wakko and Dot are the guest judges for Miss Small Town America but they quickly wreak havoc and become contestants and even take over the MC's position as well. It's a satiric story that has a mixed message, should we be angry at beauty pageants, the contestants, or the male judges? There's also some questionable violence towards the contestants that has the hosts of the show feeling uncomfortable. Minervadrama Newt is back to try and catch Minerva for his master. But Newt's plans always fail. The story itself is very similar to Newt's first appearance on the show however their are some parts which seem to be aimed towards adults. (Minerva wants to be handcuffed?) No Substitute for Laughter Slappy is making food while Skippy is at school. At least she thinks he's at school. Actually Skippy is hiding from his mean substitute teacher. Slappy goes to confront the teacher and finds out that she used to teach Slappy as well! Will Slappy and Skippy teach the substitute to have a sense of humor? And will the hosts of the show think this story is funny? Join the Party!
