Description

Join your hosts Joey, Nathan and Kelly in the "Animanicast!" A podcast dedicated to the classic 90's cartoon show Animaniacs! Today's episode features the Warners visiting "Baloney and Kids," Mindy and Buttons having super powers, Katie Ka-Boom gets a driving lesson, and Kelly provides audio from Rob Paulsen's press conference at Dragon Con 2017. Baloney and Kids The Warners visit the set of "Baloney and Kids" for some unknown reason. Instead of being annoyed by Baloney the Dinosaur's actions, they instead decide to sing "The Anvil Song" in an attempt to get rid of him. No matter what they do, Baloney keeps coming back! The hosts discuss some cultural references such as the feud between Nancy Kerrigan and Tonya Harding. They also discuss Barney the dinosaur and how PBS shows took a nose dive in quality in the 1990's. Joey also provides an impression of Baloney the dinosaur which scares Kelly. Super Buttons Mindy and Buttons are back, but they have super powers! Buttons helps protect Mindy from some bank robbers and a Spider Woman. In the end, he is able to get her back once again but still gets in trouble. The hosts discuss some of their favorite moments and connections to not only Superman, but also Harold Lloyd's "Safety Last." Katie Ka-Boom: The Driving Lesson Katie is going on a driving lesson with her parents and ends up getting very upset when her parents try to help her. She ends up becoming a monster but luckily changes back once she gets home. Nathan and Joey discuss how they related to Katie's outbursts and the hosts discuss their experiences with learning how to drive. Rob Paulsen Dragon Con Audio Stay "tooned" for audio of Rob Paulsen's press conference at Dragon Con. He discusses his life after beating cancer and gives some of his thoughts about a possible Animaniacs reboot! WARNING: Rob uses a little language which may be offensive to sensitive ears.  Send in your Questions! We will be chatting with Tom Ruegger on a regular basis!
