The co-hosts deliver the latest injury update on the Longhorns, including some bad news for the offense after Sarkisian announced senior offensive lineman Denzel Okafor will soon undergo season-ending surgery after he went down in last Saturday's game against the Horned Frogs.
The Flagship discuss what Okafor's absence will mean for the Texas offensive line, which will need to play its best game of the year against a solid Sooners' defense that currently ranks No. 7 in the country against the run. Chip and Taylor also discuss the production of sophomore running back Bijan Robinson coming off of his outstanding performance against the Horned Frogs that saw him rush for 216 yards and two touchdowns in the 32-27 win over TCU, and how crucial it is for the Longhorns’ receivers to step up their game and help take some of the workload off of Robinson this weekend when they take on the Sooners.
