Darris Nichols was born and raised in Radford, Virginia. After a successful career at West Virginia playing under John Beilein and Bob Huggins, Nichols ultimately decided to get into coaching. You'll hear about the challenges of working in the SEC, and not getting discouraged when he got turned down for seven different head coaching jobs.
