In an important weekend slate against the Montreal Canadiens and Flordia Panthers, the Toronto Maple Leafs split their two games to keep themselves in good standing in the Atlantic Division. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti go over the two games and break down the important storylines that came from them. They discuss whether the Leafs deserved the criticism they got after losing to the Habs or did they just run into a hot goaltender. Against the Panthers, Toronto showed they could go toe-to-toe with one of the NHL's top teams with John Tavare and Mitch Marner playing a big part. They also discuss Petr Mrazek's play and the criticism William Nylander is receiving after his play against Montreal. To end the show, they talk about the Leafs signing Nick Abruzzese and when he could potentially make his NHL debut. They also look at Matthew Knies and what could be in store for him once his season ends.
