Today we are learning about one of my favorite composers -- French impressionist composer, Claude Debussy. His music is simply gorgeous and I love to both play it and hear it played. It feels and sounds dreamy and there's not usually a strong beat. There's something simply poetic about it. Debussy's music was meant to create images and moods. As you check out this week's playlist after listening to the episode, try painting or coloring an image that comes into your mind as you listen to his music.
