Description
We're back this week to talk about memories of KISS live with Koncert Memories! We know many of you have seen KISS live going all the way back to the glory days of the 70's. However, Aaron and Chris didn't get started until the early 90's. This makes for an interesting discussion as we got into the band at a commercial low-point and got to witness the resurrection of their popularity with the reunion tour in 1996 and all the strange twists and turns that lead us to today.Tours discussed this week include the Hot in the Shade tour, Revenge tour, Bad Boys of KISS tour, Alive Worldwide 96-97 tour, Psycho Circus tour, Farewell tour, World Domination tour, Rock the Nation tour, Alive 35 tour, and End of the Road tour. Additionally, we discuss some Ace Frehley solo shows and notable one-off performances including KISS playing on a floating stage in Nashville in 1994 and the Vinnie Vincent acoustic performance at the 2018 Atlanta KISS Expo. There's a bunch of fun and interesting stories in this episode. We hope you enjoy our Koncert Memories and SHARE with a friend!Decibel Geek is a proud member of the Pantheon Podcasts FamilyContact Us!Rate, Review, and Subscribe in iTunesJoin the Facebook Fan PageFollow on TwitterFollow on InstagramE-mail UsSubscribe to our Youtube channel!Support Us!Buy a T-Shirt!Donate to the show!Stream Us!Stitcher RadioSpreakerTuneInBecome a VIP Subscriber!Click HERE for more info!Comment BelowDirect Download

Episode 5-1 - Vinnie Vincent Special Part 1: I think Hell has officially frozen over! This episode is a long time coming and I hope it will inform people that have always wondered "What the hell happened to Vinnie Vincent?" The show begins with a quick recap of how I had the seedling of an idea of finding out what happened to Vinnie Vincent and turning it into a writing project. What began as a quick idea that would make an interesting magazine article snowballed when I received so much information from so many angles that I began to entertain thoughts of turning the story into a book.......then, I got realistic. A book at this point in time about a recluse guitarist who's 15 minutes of fame ended in the 1980's just wasn't practical; no matter how much I loved his music, songwriting, and intriguing story. I launched the Decibel Geek podcast when I remembered how much fun it was to interview some of the people that I grew up listening to and artists of today that I dig.
