The latest instalment of our Ranking Wes Craven series sees the first film that neither of us had seen prior to this recent watch. Deadly Friend gives us a more Sci-fi route than we’ve been used to with Wes’ previous work and a robot that we still can’t believe cost $20,000. We discuss how we felt watching this for the first time in 2022, the history once again behind meddling studios and the usual classification board butchery. Then we get to adding it to our ranking so far which now stands at 11 films in total. Elsewhere this week in the news; a new Scream is coming to the surprise of no one.
