Description
Recently, Amy sent in a question to "Ask The Egg Whisperer." She's 40, and wants to know if she can wait a couple of months to start IVF. Here's what she wrote, "I am 40 and we are seeking fertility treatment due to my age and some sexual dysfunction. After all the testing (TUSHY, BALLS) we have been cleared for IVF and everything looks good! I have one ovary and tube, my AMH is 1.1 and I have a birthday coming up, which of course means another notch down the fertility ladder. We have the opportunity to start IVF at my next menstrual cycle at one clinic (pricey, but soon) or at another clinic two months later (significantly less pricey, less soon). My question is this - how much do those two months matter? Is it imperative for our family goals (1 child ?) that we get in as many cycles ASAP or will the two month difference be negligible in the end? We plan/hope to do several embryo banking cycles no matter where we end up. Thank you so much - you’re my favorite." Tune in to hear my answer, and the answer to 9 other listener questions.
