Description

Recently, Lea sent in a question to "Ask The Egg Whisperer" about the difference between a mini IVF cycle and a regular IVF cycle. Here's what she wrote, "Hi Dr. Aimee, I just got my prescription for my first IVF cycle but I think my doctor is going to put me on a mini IVF protocol and I’m not sure that’s right or necessary.  Both of my tubes are blocked and I have adenomyosis. We haven’t done a hysteroscopy or lap yet so I haven’t ruled out endometriosis yet.  I have my list of medications, and I’m worried this is a mini IVF protocol. I think I can do a regular IVF cycle and would like to try to get as many eggs and embyros as possible. What advice would you give me?"
